Terms of Service

This page is in English. Plain-language summary: be at least 13, be decent, don't break the law, and we can remove content or accounts that do.
1. Who we are
Lyreto is a chat app for servers, channels, direct messages, voice and video. It is run by its operator (“we”, “us”) on our own server. You can reach us at covenadmin@gmail.com.
2. Who can use Lyreto
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older if your country requires it to use a service like this without a parent's consent).
- One person per account. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account. You can turn on two-step sign-in where offered.
- Don't create accounts to get around a ban.
3. Your content
You own what you post: messages, images, files, voice clips, profile details. You give us a limited licence to store, copy and show it to the people you shared it with, only so we can run Lyreto. We don't sell your content and we don't use it for advertising.
Server owners and their moderators can remove messages and members in their servers. Anyone you share something with can copy it, so think before you post.
4. Rules
Don't use Lyreto to:
- break the law, or help someone else do it;
- harass, threaten, bully or dox anyone, or promote violence or hatred against people based on who they are;
- share sexual content involving minors (we report it), non-consensual intimate images, or sexual content in places not meant for it;
- spam, scam, phish, spread malware, or impersonate people or Lyreto staff;
- share other people's private information or content you don't have the rights to;
- attack, overload, scrape or try to break into Lyreto or other people's accounts.
5. Enforcement and bans
We may remove content, limit features, sign you out, or suspend or ban accounts (temporarily or permanently) that break these terms or put others at risk. People marked “Lyreto Staff” act for us. If you think we got it wrong, email covenadmin@gmail.com.
6. Third-party services
Some features use other companies' services, under their own terms: GIF search is powered by KLIPY; Watch Together plays videos from YouTube; account connections (like Roblox) only link the account you choose. Link previews fetch the page you posted.
7. Bots and webhooks
If you add a bot or webhook to a server, you're responsible for what it posts.
8. Deleting your account
You can delete your account any time in User Settings → My Account → Delete Account (transfer or delete any servers you own first). See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
9. The service
Lyreto is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content posted by other users.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Lyreto after a change means you accept it.
